Welcome to Fly Water Guiding. We offer fly fishing guiding and instruction and are located to the on the Middle Reach of Grand River here in Ontario. We also offer Guided trips on the Maitland River and the Saugeen Rivers.

With a one to two ratio of guide to guest, expert knowledge, and outstanding rivers, our guests bask in an unparalleled fly fishing experience that is second to none! Fly Water Guiding caters to a small number of guests at one time with full, complete, and detailed attention being focused on the individuals interests and needs.

 

Our season starts in late April and lasts through to Mid December. The Spring season's  opener starts with Spring steelhead, fishing over some fresh run and post spawn drop back fish. As spring progresses the steelhead are replaced with a blue ribbon resident rainbow and brown trout fishery thru to the end of June. As summer begins in late June and early July, Smallmouth Bass become the spices of choice lasting through September. By Mid September the water has begun cooling with the shorter days of fall , and the early fall run Steelhead begin showing, and are plentiful through October, November and into December.
